About Nasser Kazeminy

With five decades of experience as an entrepreneur and executive, Nasser Kazeminy serves as Chairman and founder of the mergers and acquisitions-focused firm, NJK Holding Corporation. Educated in England, Mr. Kazeminy started his career in London with Honeywell International Inc., designing a global logistics and management information system. Relocating to the United States in the late 1960s to take a position with Control Data Corporation, he designed and implemented system similar to the one he created for Honeywell International. Mr. Kazeminy gradually expanded his range of duties with Control Data Corporation, serving in Education, Field Logistic Services, and Peripherals groups. Working with the latter department, Nasser Kazeminy discovered an unmet market demand for tax-leveraged, affordable leases on computer peripheral products. After leaving Control Data Corporation on positive terms, he established Minneapolis Leasing Corporation, growing it into the nation’s leading privately-held computer leasing company. Mr. Kazeminy has undertaken his current responsibilities with NJK Holding Corporation since 1980. In the past three decades, Mr. Kazeminy’s firm has held controlling and minority stakes in a number of successful innovation-focused entities, including Drake ProMetric LP, XP Systems Corporation, and CENTRA Benefit Services, Inc.

In addition to his corporate endeavors, Nasser Kazeminy maintains a longstanding commitment to humanitarian initiatives, particularly those involving education, children’s welfare, and health issues. Mr. Kazeminy supports more than 100 charities in these areas, ranging from orphanages to nonprofits tackling specific children’s health conditions. He also assists undergraduate and graduate students on a personal level through educational sponsorship, counseling, and job search assistance. In 2006, Mr. Kazeminy was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Leadership Award by Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership in recognition of his sustained activities over the decades promoting youth education worldwide. One of Nasser Kazeminy’s other major philanthropic roles is as major benefactor of the Foundation for Promotion of Democracy. Inducted into the Knights of Malta in 2006, Mr. Kazeminy holds a position as Commander of Merit pro Merito Melitense with the Catholic Church-affiliated organization.
